The 17th Alta Conference on Argumentation will be held July 28-31, 2011, in Alta, Utah. Cosponsored by NCA, AFA, and the University of Utah, the Conference brings together scholars interested in all aspects of argumentation. All sessions will be held in the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird in Alta, Utah, which also provides lodging and meals as part of a four day conference package. Thomas A. Hollihan of the University of Southern California will be the keynote speaker. Presented papers will be considered for publication in the Conference volume.
